Video: Working against poverty in Kenya

This year's International Day for the Eradication of Poverty is a call to everyone, from policy makers to the public, to recognise the rights and dignity of people living in poverty.

Michael Nyangi runs a microfinance project called Lomoro in Kibera, one of the largest slums in Nairobi, Kenya.

Michael will be participating in a discussion on poverty at a conference at the United Nations in New York on the 17th October.
