Prisoner of conscience Htay Kywe is on trial facing politically motivated charges for his role in the peaceful protest marches against military rule in Myanmar in August/September 2007. In this document Amnesty International calls for his immediate and unconditional release and for assurances that he is not being subjected to torture or ill-treatment.
