Mexico: Women's struggle for safety and justice: Violence in the family in Mexico: Health Professional Action

Amnesty International is campaigning for the federal and state authorities to adopt the measures required to comply with the principles of new federal legislation on violence against women and, in this way, to make a positive change in the lives of women survivors of domestic violence in Mexico. As well as a case study, three key areas are considered in this Action: medical evidence; official medical examiners and the role of health professionals.
